About XMRig
We offer the best crypto tools including a high-performance, open-source, cross-platform CPU/GPU miner for RandomX, KawPow, CryptoNight, and AstroBWT. Our miner also includes a RandomX benchmark and a stratum proxy.
To configure our XMRig miner, we recommend using the JSON config file, which is more flexible and user-friendly compared to the command line interface. The JSON config file allows you to make changes to important options during runtime without having to restart the miner. Alternatively, you can make edits to the config file or execute API calls to modify settings.
Our wizard feature assists you in creating the initial configuration for the miner, while the workers feature helps you manage your miners through the HTTP API. By default, we request a donation of 1% (1 minute out of 100 minutes). However, you have the option to increase this donation level or disable it entirely in the source code.
You can find the XMRig source code on GitHub, available under the terms of the GPLv3 license. We provide binary downloads and build instructions for the most popular platforms. To ensure the reliability and quality of our binaries, we utilize a self-hosted buildbot to create binaries for every commit.
