Mainnet Steps
  1. Go to the Scroll mainnet page;

  2. Add the Scroll network to your Metamask;

  3. Visit Rhino.fi and connect your ETH wallet. Sign two messages on Rhino.fi without incurring any gas fees; Check Scroll's website for their recommended Rhino.fi bridge and use it to bridge your ETH, USDT, or USDC from the Ethereum mainnet to the Scroll mainnet.

  4. Purchase ETH on Binance if needed; alternatively, deposit fiat to Binance and buy ETH.

  5. Explore the live dApps on the Scroll mainnet, such as the Scroll Name Service, to potentially qualify for future airdrops. Find a list of live dApps on the Scroll ecosystem on their website.

  6. Use Rhino.fi to bridge funds from the Scroll Mainnet to the Ethereum Mainnet, increasing your chances of qualifying for a potential airdrop.

  7. Optionally, bridge from Scroll to platforms like zkSync, Base, Polygon zkEVM, Manta, Linea, or Optimism, which may make you eligible for additional airdrops.

  8. Early users who have engaged in mainnet actions may receive an airdrop if Scroll decides to launch its own token.

Testnet Steps
  1. To start, include the Scroll Alpha Testnet in your MetaMask wallet by visiting the Scroll Alpha Testnet portal and adding the L1 and L2 configurations. It's very simple, follow the official instructions. If you previously added the Pre-Alpha Testnet network, make sure to remove it from MetaMask. Then, reset MetaMask for Scroll's L2.

  2. To secure Goerli ETH for your wallet, you can add the Goerli network to your MetaMask through ChainList. You can request Goerli ETH from faucets like Alchemy or Goerli PoW.

  3. Utilize the Scroll Bridge to transfer testnet ETH tokens from Goerli Testnet to Scroll Alpha Testnet. This process typically takes around 10-15 minutes. You can monitor your transactions on the Scroll Rollup Explorer.

  4. Conversely, while on the Scroll Alpha Testnet network, you can bridge your testnet ETH tokens back to the Goerli Testnet.

  5. You can send ETH from one wallet to another on the Scroll Network using MetaMask.

  6. Engage with the Scroll Ecosystem, including projects like Aave, Syncswap, Izumi Finance, and Symbiosis, to generate on-chain evidence that might make you eligible for a potential airdrop. These interactions can include activities such as swapping, adding liquidity, and using Scroll Alpha on these platforms. Be sure to consider the specific requirements of each project within the Scroll ecosystem.

  7. Finally, visit the Scroll Guild Page, connect your wallet, Discord, and Twitter accounts, and complete tasks to earn guild roles.

Scroll Airdrop Guide!

Why Scroll?

Scroll, initiated in early 2021 within the dynamic Ethereum ecosystem, is an EVM-equivalent ZK-rollup. It incorporates zkEVM as a core element to validate the native EVM execution trace and tackles efficiency challenges on the prover side through a decentralized proving network. While Scroll does not currently have its own token, there is a possibility of a future token launch. Having secured a substantial $80 million in funding from major venture capital firms like Polychain and Sequoia, the likelihood of a token launch is high. With the mainnet already launched, early users who have engaged in both mainnet and testnet activities may qualify for an airdrop if Scroll decides to introduce its token. It is strongly recommended to conduct transactions regularly to enhance eligibility for potential airdrops.

What is this project?

Scroll is actively working on a ZK-rollup that seamlessly integrates with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Their proofing system allows for the direct verification of Ethereum blocks with a succinct proof, resulting in faster transaction confirmations on the Ethereum network and reduced gas fees. The core idea involves scrutinizing the accuracy and completeness of each operation code in the EVM execution trace. This innovation allows layer-1 smart contracts to be easily migrated to the Scroll platform. Rather than introducing new ZK-specific features, Scroll takes a distinctive approach by optimizing the native EVM. This strategic choice provides them with a significant advantage, enabling compatibility with all existing Ethereum systems without necessitating any alterations.
